Every listed company sits in one division, and that number is part of its record. The ten cover the work of a port and a shipment from the drawing set to the customs declaration.
What each division covers
Choose the one that describes what your company is paid to do, not everything it is capable of. Each division opens to the kinds of company that belong in it.

- 03Equipment manufacturersMakers of the machinery and systems a vessel or terminal is assembled from, including propulsion, deck equipment, navigation, communications and safety systems.
- 04Suppliers and consumablesShip chandlers, bunker suppliers, provisions and spares distributors, and the stores side of keeping a vessel operating.
- 05Repair, maintenance and serviceRepair yards, riding squads and service engineers who keep vessels and port equipment in operation and in class between surveys.
- 06Marine and port servicesThe operational services around a port call: agency, towage, pilotage support, stevedoring, tallying, warehousing, salvage and pollution response.
- 07Shipping and ship managementOwners, operators, charterers, brokers and technical or crew managers, along with the freight forwarders who buy space from them.
- 08Research and trainingMaritime academies, simulator centres, research institutes and the certification bodies behind seafarer and port qualifications.
