Who Bluesealine is
Bluesealine is a private company building two things: a registry of maritime service providers whose credentials have been checked, and a case engine that tracks the work those providers are engaged to do.
What the platform is for
A shipment involves a dozen companies that have never worked together, each holding one document the others need. The information that would resolve a delay almost always exists on the day the delay starts. It is simply held by somebody who does not know it is wanted.
Bluesealine exists to put that information in one place, under one reference, with a named owner on every step. Two questions are answered without anybody being telephoned: who owes the next action, and what is stopping it.
The registry is the other half of the same argument. A case only holds if the parties on it are who they say they are, so a listing states what was checked and when, rather than carrying a badge that means nothing to the person reading it.
What Bluesealine is not
A registry that publishes certificates can be mistaken for the body that issues them. It is not one, and the distinction matters enough to be written down.
- Not a government body, a public register or a port authority. Bluesealine holds no public mandate and issues nothing under public authority.
- Not a classification society. It records class certificates issued by others; it does not survey a vessel or grant a class notation.
- Not a chamber of commerce. It records an attestation and its expiry date; it does not attest to origin.
- Not a party to any trade on the platform. Bluesealine is not the buyer, the seller, the carrier or the broker on a case.
- Not an insurer, a bank or a guarantor. It carries no risk on a case and underwrites nothing.
- Not an escrow or a payment service. Money does not pass through the platform.
The standard providers are held to
Every company in the registry is checked against the same five requirements, and each one either happened or did not.
The company exists where it says it does
Registration number and legal name confirmed against the registry that issued them, in the company's own jurisdiction.
Its licence to trade is current
The trade licence is held on file with its issuing body and its expiry date, and it is re-checked when that date approaches.
Its certificates are real and in date
Class approvals, management system certificates and insurance cover are recorded with issuer, issue date and expiry, and an expired credential blocks the step that depends on it.
It has been screened
The legal entity is screened against sanctions lists before it can be listed, and again when it joins a case.
Someone answers
A named contact at the company is confirmed by reply, so a counterparty is not writing into a void.
Limits Verification confirms documents and identity. It is not an opinion on a company's finances, its solvency or the quality of its work, and it is not a guarantee of performance on any case.
The operator
The registry asks companies to prove who they are, so the operator publishes its own record on the same terms.
- Trading name
- Bluesealine
- Registered name
- To be published
- Jurisdiction
- To be published
- Registration number
- To be published
- Registered office
- To be published
- Telephone
- None published
- Enquiries

A line that reads “to be published” is a fact the operator has not supplied yet, and it is shown as a gap on purpose. Those lines are filled in when the operating entity is registered and not before. A plausible registration number on a site whose argument is checked records would be the worst thing on it.
Where this stands today
The case engine is specified and being built. It is described on this site in the present tense because that is what it does, not because it is carrying traffic: Bluesealine has no live cases and no customers, and no figure for volume, availability or customer numbers appears anywhere on the site, because none has been measured.
What is open now is the register of interest. A company can tell us what it does and which division it belongs in, and we write back with what we need in order to verify it. Listings are published as those checks complete.
